Clearance of Explosive Ordnance 1
Technical Processes of Supercritical Shooting and Blasting are necessary
for disarming of explosive ordnance. Certainly in our choice you can find
them in different constructions or designs.
MEL 220
The
Disrupter MEL 220 is designed for „Technical Processes of Supercritical
Flow“in the area of IEDD and EOD.
Because of the possibility of different loadings, the Disrupter MEL 220 can
be used in many application areas.
The Disrupter is electrical charged by the impetus-cartridge MEL 2212 (cal.
12.7).
MEL 221
The
Disrupter MEL 221 has a slight rebound. It is actuated with a cartridge of
12.7 mm. Because of the inimitable rebound-absorbability the Disrupter keeps
on standing on its tripod while shooting.
The very wide range of projectiles allows using the MEL 221 in different
application areas.
MEL 222
The
Mini-Disrupter MEL 222 has a modular construction and is free of
rebound.
It has the ability to shoot projectiles up to 25g. In a further
configuration can be used as a cable-cutter (Cable-Cutter for Command Wire)
as well.
MEL 223
The
Disrupter MEL 223 is a modular constructed device to clear explosive
ordnance and USVB´s. It is free of rebound as well.
The heavy calibre of 40mm enables to clear strong coated explosive ordnance
in a save way.
MEL 224
The
Disrupter MEL 224 was especially designed for the combat of USBV´s.
The Disrupter is composed of a rebound-free canon, a light multi-positional
base frame, target-equipment, and expendable items. All the items are packed
in a case which can be transported easily, including the tripod.
MEL 271
The
MEL 271 is a device, which was constructed to unscrew fuses out of
ammunition with a large bore. The MEL 271 is actuated with 2 X 12.7 mm
cartridges and is remote-controlled by ignition cable.
It is used for counter-clockwise and clockwise fuses.
MEL 350
The
kit Shaped-Charges MEL 350 is prepared for blasting-technical processes to
open explosive ordnance. Three different sizes of explosive body-forms in
connection with ductile explosives make the disarming by „Low
Order-Process“possible.
With the “wall-thickness-measure device” the exact wall thickness and thus
the form of the explosive body can be ascertained.
