MEL 160

The explosive-analyses-equipment MEL 160 was designed for qualitative detection of military explosives, propellant-powder and double base solid propellant elements in aspect of military, tasks by the police and environment-analytic tasks. Primarily this equipment is used for detection of explosives in ammunition, after bomb attacks at the site of crime, quick-tests at airports, track of smoke residues on weapons as well as in contaminated grounds. This simple equipment allows a complete identify of all military standard-explosives including the appropriate additives in less than 60 minutes. A quick-test to answer the question „explosive yes/no?“ is accomplishable in less than 15 minutes.
